Neper 3.4.0-foss-2018b

There is a newer version of Neper

Neper is a software package for polycrystal generation and meshing. It can deal with 2D and 3D polycrystals with very large numbers of grains.

Accessing Neper 3.4.0-foss-2018b

To load the module for Neper 3.4.0-foss-2018b please use this command on the BEAR systems (BlueBEAR, BEARCloud VMs, and CaStLeS VMs):

module load Neper/3.4.0-foss-2018b

Using Neper

An example command is:

neper -T -n 100 -id 1
neper -M n100-id1.tess

The example command generates a .tess file then loads the meshing module on the file.

These versions of Neper are available on the BEAR systems (BlueBEAR, BEARCloud VMs, and CaStLeS VMs). These will be retained in accordance with our Applications Support and Retention Policy.
