There is a newer version of canu
Canu is a fork of the Celera Assembler, designed for high-noise single-molecule
sequencing (such as the PacBio RS II or Oxford Nanopore MinION).
Canu is a hierarchical assembly pipeline which runs in four steps:
Detect overlaps in high-noise sequences using MHAP
Generate corrected sequence consensus
Trim corrected sequences
Assemble trimmed corrected sequences
Accessing canu 1.9-GCCcore-8.3.0-Perl-5.30.0
To load the module for canu 1.9-GCCcore-8.3.0-Perl-5.30.0 please use this command on the BEAR systems (BlueBEAR, BEAR Cloud VMs, and CaStLeS VMs):
module load bear-apps/2022a
module load canu/1.9-GCCcore-8.3.0-Perl-5.30.0

These versions of canu are available on the BEAR systems (BlueBEAR, BEAR Cloud VMs, and CaStLeS VMs). These will be retained in accordance with our Applications Support and Retention Policy.
