LS-DYNA

LS-DYNA, developed by Livermore Software Technology Corporation (LSTC), is a multi-purpose explicit and implicit finite element and multiphysics program used to analyse the nonlinear response of structures.

LS-DYNA Licensing

LS-DYNA requires a license to run and to be instructed on how to find the license. To use a network license, set:

export LSTC_LICENSE=network
export LSTC_LICENSE_SERVER=[license server]

in your job submission script, pointing at your license server.

Available Versions

These versions of LS-DYNA are available on the BEAR systems (BlueBEAR, BEARCloud VMs, and CaStLeS VMs). These will be retained in accordance with our Applications Support and Retention Policy.
